Margarita Monday is here and it’s getting fizzy

**SPONSORED**

We teamed up with Cointreau, El Jimador & Herradura and local bartender Ben Griest from Giuseppe’s Ritrovo for this fresh, fun take on a margarita. Ben’s first video was the classic margarita – no high-fructose corn syrups, just three simple ingredients… and Ben’s quirky style. His second video shows off the unique tastes of Herradura Reposado. Today, we are creating a fun, whimsical take on the Margarita. Get ready – tequila meets bath bombs!

The Bath Bomb

Strawberry/Rhubarb

From the video: how to make strawberry/rhubarb syrup

  • 1pint of strawberries
  • 2 stalks of rhubarb
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1cup water
  • citric acid

Remove tops and cut rhubarb into 1” pieces. Place all ingredients into a gallon zip lock bag with the air removed. If you have a sous vide set it to 57C or 135F. If you don’t, use a pot and bring the water to 135f (and let sit for 3 hours, fine strain and chill. Store up to 2 weeks.
