Land-Grant Brewing and Jeni’s Ice Cream have exciting plans in the works

Sources tell (614) Media that Land-Grant Brewing is working on a collaboration with Jeni’s Ice Cream with details of the project likely to be shared next week. 

Land-Grant Brewing is in the process of announcing six new flavors for their sixth-anniversary six-pack. They have unveiled three, and that includes a coffee-flavored brown ale that they worked on with Buckeye Donuts, but it’s unclear if their new venture with Jeni’s is part of that or not.

The two companies have hooked up before. In 2018, they partnered on Jeni’s Elixir Hibiscus Pale Ale, and in 2019 on Splendid Berry Brut.

Also, in 2018 and 2019, Land-Grant Brewing hosted Jeni’s Strawberry Jam, which is an annual party with live music and food held to celebrate the release of their Strawberry Jam ice cream. That celebration was preempted this year by the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Land-Grant spokesman would only confirm that they have exciting news coming.
