After 19 years in the Arena District, Gordon Biersch brewpub has closed.

Nashville-based owner Craftworks Holdings LLC announced that it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, according to Columbus Business First. The Columbus closure was one of 37 others across the country.

The 401 N Front St. bar, which was one of the pioneer watering holes in Arena District, was the last remaining Ohio location.

The Three-Legged Mare, another long-standing Arena District establishment, closed last fall.
