Reward offered for information on Buckeye Donut thief

Lori Schmidt

The neighbors of Buckeye Donuts campus location are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual who robbed the store at gunpoint Thursday morning at 4:50 a.m.

Bars Threes Above High, Fours On High, Leo’s on the Alley, Oldfield’s North Fourth Tavern, and law firm Hastie Legal have pooled together $1,000 for the reward.

“We may be a large campus, but we’re a tight-knit community that sticks together when things go bad. We won’t sit by silently and let this happen in our backyard!” posted Threes Above High, in a Twitter statement regarding the reward.

A grateful Buckeye Donuts put out their own statement via social media:

According to the police report, a man came into Buckeye Donuts in the predawn hours, took out a gun, and demanded the money from the store’s register. He then fled northbound on foot.
