Man shot in face by stray bullet in Short North

Police are investigating after a man was struck by a stray bullet in the Short North early Friday morning.
10TV reports the shooting happened in front of a bar called Monarch at 700 N High St. around 2:15am.
The victim suffered one gunshot wound to the face, and was taken to Grant Medical Center for treatment. He is expected to recover.

Authorities believe a fight broke out between two individuals when people were leaving the business. Investigators per 10TV say someone pulled a gun and fired at least three times.
A suspect has not been identified.
