Express Edit opens at the Shops on Lane Avenue

Visitors to the Shops on Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington will have a new retail option.

Express opened its first pop-up concept, Express Edit, at 659 W. Lane Ave. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Saturday, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Express CEO Tim Baxter said the pop-up will be open at Lane Ave. through February.

“Our brand’s roots are in Columbus and our corporate headquarters are here, so it felt right to give the Columbus community the first look at this new retail experience,” Baxter said. “Lane Avenue is a terrific location given its proximity to downtown Columbus and the Ohio State University campus.”

Express opened this pop-up to test a smaller format store with a more localized assortment. At this time, Express is focusing only on this pop-up, he said.

Shoppers will find a curated collection of clothing and accessories, including a holiday dual-gender collection, denim, cold weather accessories, women’s tops and dresses, and men’s tailored jackets and button downs.

The brand will also partner with local Columbus businesses to feature their work, starting with bracelets created by designer Margo Lewis of Gems by MKOL.
