Corn mazes are the type of wholesome entertainment suitable for the whole family as fall comes to Columbus.

So let’s add some wine into the mix to spice thing up.

The Wine Craze Corn Maze, hosted by Van Buren Acres in nearby Licking County, lets you make your way though a nearby maze while taking in some great local wine. The event, which is held on Sept. 9 from 5-9 p.m., will feature drinks from Buckeye Winery. Wine will be located at sample tables throughout the maze (so you can drink your way through), as well as at a cash bar once you’ve found your way out.

The Newark-area winemakers offer more than 50 total wines, between what they create themselves and what they sell from other vintners around the world.

The event will also feature live music by local country music artist and OSU alumnus Lee Gantt, which will kick off at 6 p.m. (one hour after doors open).
Tickets for the event, which can be purchased here, include access to the farm and maze, five wine samples, a snack bag, souvenir wine glass, hors d’oeuvres, plus access to the cash bar and farm store.
