If you’re planning for some R&R this weekend, you can insert a healthy dose of retail therapy with minimal effort.

Starting at 5 p.m. today through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, April 11 is the first-ever Columbus College of Art & Design Alumni Art & Design Market. Think of it as the virtual little sister of the ever-popular CCAD Art Fair.

And since the event is all online, CCAD is able to include work from graduates from across the country. According to a release, over 30 artists and designers are participating, and many are offering special coupon codes and exclusive items.

“CCAD’s semiannual Art Fair has been a community favorite for decades, and while we plan to bring that event back when we are able to safely gather in person, we also saw this semester as an opportunity to pilot a new virtual event that exclusively highlights CCAD’s talented alumni,” said Vice President for Institutional Engagement Chris Mundell in a prepared statement.

“The CCAD Alumni Art & Design Market serves as a platform for connecting shoppers with artists and designers from around the country who got their start at CCAD and whose work may not typically be available in Columbus. We hope those who attend connect with artists and designers they may have not otherwise known about,” Mundell said.
