Eggs, Paws and Claws event returns to the Columbus Zoo next month
Is the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium’s Easter weekend tradition back?
Egg-xactly right.
Eggs, Paws and Claws will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 2 and 3. Festivities will include a meet-and-greet with Egg Ambassadors Eggbert, Shelly, Yolko, and Oh-No at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. near the Zoo Float at Conservation Lake. Angry Birds Chuck, Silver, and some Hatchlings will also be located at Conservation Lake at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.

You can catch the ambassadors on the Character Express train at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., weather permitting. The Angry Birds will have their turn on the train at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
For photos with the Easter Bunny, guests can visit Lakeside Theater. Reservations are recommended but not required. Photo packages including a 5×7 photo and four wallet-sized photos are available for $19.99 with the option to add another 5×7 or digital photo for $5.
More bunny fun can be found at Bunny Hollow, where guests will find the Easter bunny’s friends at My House at Habitat Hollow. Peter Rabbit can be found at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Pat the Bunny will be available at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.
Guests will also be able to participate in Egg-Splore-N-Find and have the chance to find seven hidden eggs around the zoo for a prize.
The event is free with zoo admission. The zoo is offering $5 off regular-priced admission until April 18. All guests have to have a dated, timed ticket until 2 p.m. for social distancing and other safety precautions.
