Here’s why Uptown Westerville is a must-visit this holiday season

While anytime is a good time to visit historic Uptown Westerville, the city just north of Columbus really comes to life this time of year.

You can enjoy Westerville’s picturesque Uptown strip, do some holiday shopping at any number of sought-after stores, or grab a drink and a bite at a spot like Barrel & Boar, Northstar Cafe, or the new DiCarlo’s Pizza location, set to open in January. 

With the city’s new Downtown Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), you can even feel free to carry alcoholic drinks from store to store across the Uptown strip, a surefire way to make the chill of winter a bit more bearable.

Visitors can even take part in a number of festive holiday events, including the Uptown Ice Sculpture Tour, which showcases a variety of expertly-crafted ice sculptures and is currently underway.
