Ice Ice, Baby: Drive-thru ice experience to open next month in Delaware
Get ready for the Delaware County Fairgrounds to be transformed next month.
Ice World, an immersive drive-thru ice experience via Rock on Ice and Ice Sculpting Masters, will offer over 90 ice sculptures to view from Feb. 26-28.
Greg Butauski, owner of Rock on Ice, a Sunbury ice sculpting company, said the event is a way for families to enjoy themselves in a safe environment during the pandemic.
“This event was born from COVID,” he said.

The goal, he said, is also to attract people to visit businesses in downtown Delaware.
He said he plans to make the ice experience an annual event, and grow it into a full-fledged festival when he can do so safely.
This year’s event will feature 60,000 pounds of crystal-clear ice sculpted by National and World Champion carvers. The art will be on view from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 26-28. Tickets can be purchased here.
