Bexley Aab undergoes rebrand

Although there’s a new sign and a new name, Khaab Indian Kitchen & Bar will retain the menu it had when it was known as Aab India.

Dalbir Mavi has owned the restaurant at 2400 E. Main St. since April, according to a Jan. 22 press release. “Khaab” means dream in Punjabi.

Aab opened in Bexley in 2015. Aab Grandview won’t be affected by the name change.

“I know people love the current menu and flavors,” Mavi said in a prepared statement. “We are keeping the base menu the same and will continue to work hard to improve the quality of the food without changing the original recipes.”

In addition to renaming the eatery, Mavi is updating the dining room. He’s also adding a cocktail menu and an expanded selection of bourbon and whiskey at the bar.

We can’t wait to see the changes.
