More comfort food is on its way to Easton Town Center.

Cleveland-based Black Box Fix will open May 1 at 4037 Fenlon St., according to a release from Easton.

In the meantime, we’ll be able to get a sneak peek a bit earlier. Black Box Fix is slated to hold a “Taste and See” event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 10. A total of 500 servings of food samples will be available for free until supplies last, and live music will be provided courtesy of DJ King.

The eatery focuses on creating original dishes with a creole flair. Head chef Eric Rogers had initially spent 14 years at a Cleveland-area hospital before embarking on a new adventure in the culinary world. He opened Nevaeh Cafe & Catering in 2012, and soon after, Black Box Fix in 2014.

“At Neveah, we would serve food in trendy black, recyclable boxes. People would come in liking boxes and the food so much that they’d tell me “Hey, I came to get my fix.” And that’s how Black Box Fix got started,” he said.
