Borgata makes take-home cannoli kits permanent menu item
Columbus sweets lovers, we have two words: Cannoli Kits.
Borgata fans might have noticed the new offering over the holiday season, and it’s here to stay.
Co-owner Ed Bisconti knew he wanted Borgata Pizza Cafe to stand out among other eateries with traditional Italian desserts.
That’s why he chose cannoli when designing the eatery’s menu, a sweet he said not many restaurants around Columbus carry.
“It’s one of my better ideas,” he said.

The dessert is very popular among his guests, Bisconti said. Borgata always has its pistachio, chocolate chip, and Buckeye flavors on hand to make to order, and rotates seasonal flavors, such as the red velvet cannoli, available now through Valentine’s Day.
“We always change them out,” he said.
Around Thanksgiving, Bisconti decided to capitalize on the popularity of take-home meal kits with a Borgata cannoli kit.
“We decided to give it a try, and it was extremely well received over the holidays,” he said.
The kits were so popular that Bisconti has since decided to offer the kits as a permanent menu item.
The kits are available at both Borgata’s locations at 5701 Parkville St. and 2285 W. Dublin Granville Rd.
“I think it’s just a way for [people] to enjoy them at home,” Borgata said, and have a fun activity to do.
We can’t think of anything sweeter.
