BrewDog Franklinton to reopen Friday

BrewDog Franklinton to reopen Friday

When BrewDog’s Franklinton location reopens March 12, guests will be able to enjoy an early patio opening.

BrewDog USA Head of Retail Jon Quick said the patio typically opens the first or second week of April. But with the warmer weather, BrewDog opted to open Franklinton’s patio early.

“It gives us so much more space to be able to enhance our guest experience,” he said.

The 463 Town St. location has about 140 seats on the patio, and 60 seats inside, he said.

BrewDog temporarily closed its Franklinton location in January due to the ongoing pandemic. Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis were closed around the same time, Quick said. While the months of January and February are typically challenging for most bars, this time around, they were also dealing with restrictions caused by the pandemic.

While BrewDog’s Canal Winchester and Short North locations stayed open, Franklinton closed. The location was open for only about seven months this past year, Quick said. But now, he hopes for a return to normalcy.

“We are incredibly excited to be back with our community sharing wonderful beer and hospitality and picking up from where we left off in 2019,” he said.
