Columbus gets a new sweet treat

A new solution has arrived for your sweet tooth.

Shake No. Ei8ht, a coffee shop offering handcrafted milkshakes, a variety of coffees, and other sweets, opened Jan. 1 at 1537 N. High St.

Owner Said Aljaafari said this is the first location for the outfit.

“Columbus has become quite a hotspot for startups,” Aljaafari said. “Employers and people interested in growth industries are drawn to the youthful, smart energy that flourishes [there], especially at the OSU campus area—and [on top] of that, I love it.”

Among the new eatery’s coffee options are Dutch Cold Brew Coffee and Pour-over Coffee. Desserts include French crêpes and waffle sticks.
