ComFest returning to in-person festival for the first time in two years

Jack McLaughlin

After taking a hiatus in 2020 due to COVID-19 and serving as a virtual festival only in 2021, Community Fest, the annual free, non-corporate arts and music festival known more commonly as ComFest, is coming back to its old stomping grounds in 2022.

The festival announced that ComFest 2022, the festival’s 50th iteration, will be held June 24-26 at Goodale Park.

ComFest street fair coordinator Candice Watkins confirmed that the 2022 festival will be held in person for the first time in two years. It typically takes place each year in Goodale Park, located at 120 W. Goodale St. in VIctorian Village, which makes the upcoming festival a true return to form for the longstanding Columbus event.

Currently, no other details about the 2022 festival have been released, but we’ll continue to provide updates as information is released.
