Downtown cafe featuring crepes celebrates grand opening

Although they had been quietly serving guests since late January, Bonjour Café celebrated their grand opening July 17 at 330 S. High St.

Manager Corin Hale said the menu is inspired by French cuisine.

“We specialize in crepes,” Hale said. “We have some that we love, and we also have a build-your-own crepe menu too.”

Hale said they’ve updated the menu since the soft opening at the beginning of the year, adding the build-your-own crepe menu, as well as freshly made wraps and salads in vegan and meat options.

“The atmosphere is relaxed,” Hale said. “We try to have instrumental music playing, birds chirping in the background, or wave sounds. We want people to have a little peace while in here, slow their minds down a little. Maybe this coffee break will get that problem solved that has been bugging them all day.”

Bonjour is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
