Farm brewery celebrates grand opening with weekend of festivities

Henmick Farm & Brewery has a whole slate of events planned for its grand opening celebration Friday, July 16 through Sunday, July 18. 

The 4380 N. Old State Rd. brewery, founded by Nick Sheets and his siblings, sits on a property that has been in the Sheets family for over 100 years. Over the weekend, the site will host food, music, and the first in a series of pop-up markets.

Food truck Fryer Cliffs will be on site from 4-9 p.m. Friday, and string brand The Mighty Troubadours will play at 6 p.m. 

On Saturday, Marysville BBQ outfit Geezer’s Grill & Q will be on site from 3-9 p.m. Bluegrass will be on tap: The Muleskinner Band will perform at 12:30 p.m., and Fox N Hounds will perform at 6 p.m. 

On Sunday, the brewery’s first pop-up market will take place from 1-4 p.m., featuring Olentangy Crafts & Woodburning, The Blonde Bomb Bakery, Wood Fired Catering Co., Ohio Girl Bakes, and Elemental Blue. Wood Fired will provide eats from noon to 6 p.m.
