New pizzeria coming to North Market Bridge Park

Patrons of Gallo’s Tap Room Powell and Bethel Road locations are no strangers to the Gallo family’s New York-style pizza.

Now, The Gallo’s Food Group is bringing the pizza to a broader audience. Gallo’s Pizzeria is slated to open in October at North Market Bridge Park. Nick Gallo, who will co-own Gallo’s Pizzeria with Larry and Tom Gallo, said he’s excited to expand his family business to Dublin, which he calls home.

“We look forward to servicing the Dublin community,” he said.

The Gallo family has already established their name in the Columbus food scene. The Gallo’s Food Group includes the Powell Taproom, the Bethel Road Taproom, Gallo’s on High, and Gallo’s Kitchen + Bar.

But Gallo said this latest venture is an example of how restaurants are adapting to a post-Covid world rampant with challenges surrounding food availability, staffing, and fluctuating prices.

“I think you’ll see a lot of restaurants try to simplify,” he said.

According to a release from North Market, the pizzeria will feature the Gallo 18-inch, hand-tossed pizza in addition to subs, salads, and stromboli. The eatery will occupy a space between Lan Viet and The Little Kitchen.
