Get ready for BBQ Week

Sarah Sole

Even though the city of Columbus cancelled Jazz & Ribs Fest, the city’s Recreation and Parks Department is offering an alternative way for us to get our BBQ fix.

The first Jazz & Rib Fest BBQ Week is slated for July 19-25, and will include a plethora of participants.

“We are excited about the great interest we are receiving from the restaurant community, including vegan establishments who put their own spin on BBQ favorites,” said Columbus Recreation and Parks Department Interim Director Paul Rakosky in a prepared statement. “We want to encourage our residents to visit some new restaurants during BBQ Week later this month.”

According to a release, participants include:
3 Flame BBQ
B&K Smoke House
Beyond the Brix
Big Daddy BBQ
Bristol Republic
Can’t Believe It’s Vegan
G’s Flavor House
