Katalina’s Harrison West location reopens

Good news, Columbus. Getting your Pancake Ball fix just got easier.

Katalina’s over the weekend announced the reopening of their Harrison West location at 1105 Pennsylvania Ave. to considerable buzz. The restaurant had still been offering carryout and delivery to customers but is now open again for dine-in service.

Owner and founder Kathleen Day said when she announced the reopening via social media it was one of her most-liked posts.

The restaurant is still following social distancing rules with tables and barriers, so guests have been clamoring for tables, she said.

“Luckily, the weather is great and we have the patio,” she said.

Katalina’s Harrison West location temporarily closed this past July because of the pandemic, according to Twitter.

The restaurant’s Clintonville location at 3481 N. High St. is also open. Day said her employees have stayed healthy since the location reopened last year for dine-in service.

“We have been meticulous about following safety precautions and giving Katalina’s customer-focused service through this difficult time, and it’s been rewarded,” she said.
