‘Plas Food and Drink to open later this month

This month, chef Jamie George will make a longtime dream come alive. 

‘Plas Food and Drink is slated to open right around April 21 at E. 5th Ave., the spot formerly occupied by The Table. 

George said he’s excited about transitioning the space to fit his vision. 

“We teamed up with a local artist who created a total of 23 unique art pieces,” he said. “I feel like we are gonna have a great place for this community to enjoy, and I hope we’re able to create a great connection with our neighbors and neighboring businesses.”

‘Plas Food and Drink is a team effort, including George as well as Eric Bearfield and Jackie Williams. 

George, who was a longtime chef at Z Cucina, said he wants to bring a modern approach to old world cuisine with a casual, fine dining atmosphere. 

Hours will be 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with occasional pop-up supper clubs and brunches on Sundays.
