Popular Grandview cookie business donating 100 percent of profits to its employees today, one of the busiest days of the year
Bradley Kaplan, owner of the ever-popular Lion Cub’s Cookies in Grandview, has always been appreciative of his employees. But now he’s demonstrating that with a whole lot more than just praise.
Today, in honor of Lion Cub’s second anniversary, Kaplan plans to donate 100% of the business’s profits to his employees.

“Well, I sure am lucky now to have a team of over 30+ supporting this company, they make this all possible. At the end of the day, THEY, not I, make the best cookie shop in town the way it is,” Kaplan said in a press release. “Anyways, I wanted to do more than just ‘say’ thanks. I wanted to do something meaningful. So tomorrow, 100% of the profits will go to you.”
What’s more, Kaplan made sure to launch this promotion on one of the busiest days of the year: Lion Cub’s annual collaboration with The Cheesecake Girl. Last year’s collab set a record for the number of cookies sold in a day, meaning employees of the Grandview bakery are likely to pocket a decent sum.
