Popular wood-fired pizza restaurant opens Easton location

A new pizza option has officially arrived at Easton Town Center.

Sono Wood Fired—a popular Chicago-area restaurant featuring hearty Neapolitan-style pies and other elevated Italian fare—opened at the Columbus-area mall in early August.

The restaurant is located at 4055 The Strand West.

Its Columbus location is Sono’s first restaurant outside of the Windy City, where it was voted “Best Pizza in Chicago” by Chicago Magazine.

And while the new Easton eatery hails from Illinois, it does claim a connection to the Buckeye state as well. The restaurant is owned by the Good Eats Group. One of the group’s co-owners, Martin Murch, is an Ohio native.

Billed as Tuscany-inspired, Sono Wood Fired’s sizable menu includes everything from crispy arancini to a rustic porchetta sandwich, lobster gnocchi, and a full slate of its namesake wood-fired pies.

Customers can compliment their meal with a pairing from their extensive wine bar—which features dozens of global bottles—or a hand-crafted cocktail.

Sono Wood Fired is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
