Sheetz opens Hilliard store today, debuts new menu item at all Ohio stores

Sarah Sole

Somehow, Sheetz has found enough time to open a sixth store here in the Columbus area AND bless us with a new menu item.

The latest spot opened today at 4279 Cemetery Rd., according to a release.

But on to the food: Seems Sheetz has launched the Bahama Mama Sausage, which the family-owned and operated restaurant and convenience chain has dubbed the “official food of Columbus.” The spicy German-style sausage is made from beef and pork and can be found at all 47 Ohio locations for $2.99. You can get it on a traditional hot dog, or go rogue with a pretzel bun with your choice of toppings and spreads.
