South Columbus bakery to open second location

J’s Sweet Treats is going North.

According to a press release, the 1540 Parsons Ave. bakery is opening a second location at 1500 Polaris Parkway in Polaris Fashion Place.

“Sometimes it feels surreal what we’ve built from a part-time side hustle in my kitchen,” Owner Juana Williams said in a prepared statement. “We opened our first brick-and-mortar on Parsons last March, just over a week before the state-mandated COVID shutdowns. Though foot traffic has been light considering, it has genuinely been a record-breaking year for us for custom cake orders. We are looking forward to this expansion—eager and ready for the opportunity to introduce the brand to additional Central Ohio communities.”

The new store will feature all of the Parsons Avenue favorites, as well as new items including truffles, extreme dipped apples, and even more grab-and-go cakes. There will also be a boutique shop with cards, candles, and other gift items.
