Dog bakery slinging birthday cakes, gourmet donuts, “puptarts” opens Hilliard location

Good dogs in Columbus now have twice the chance to nom nom nom. Literally. This is because Nom Nom Nom Dog Bakery has opened a storefront in Hilliard.

Located at 6500 Hayden Run Rd., the 700 square-foot location is nearly twice the size of the shop’s original shop in Canal Winchester. The new spot will be open Monday through Saturday, from noon until 8 p.m.

“We were vendors at the Hilliard Farmers’ Market for six years and had so many regular customers that visited our Canal  Winchester location from Hilliard, Grove City, Plain City, and the Dublin area that Hilliard just made sense,” said owner Johnna Kredel. “There are so many pups and we are so happy with the choice we made.”

Billed as Central Ohio’s “only natural doggie bakery”, Nom Nom Nom features a wide variety of fresh-baked treats for dogs (with excellent canine-related puns), including cannolis, puptarts, brownies, blueberry scones, and woofles. They even offer Doggie Donut Saturday every weekend.

Nom Nom Nom also sells non-food items from other local vendors, like leashes, bandanas, toys, and more.

“We are trying to make it easy for people all over the Columbus area to spoil their pups and help support local businesses at the same time,” Kredel said.
