Welcome to the new year, Columbus.

Every January brings a bounty of new hope and a fresh start for all of us. What it also brings, though, is the annual Interview Issue from (614).

This year, we’ve rounded up eight of the most interesting Columbus residents we could find to tell their stories. From a unique local beekeeper to the artist behind Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace and Hoof Hearted Brewing, these people have a story to tell. And you’re going to want to hear them all.

We’ve also included the top-notch food coverage you’ve come to expect, with stories on a Granville cidery, Dirty Frank’s launching a location inside Hollywood Casino Columbus, and a new spot to grab some of the city’s most coveted ice cream sundaes. And speaking of food, our Serving Industry Stars section profiles some of the biggest and brightest names in the Columbus food scene, including chefs, owners, and mixologists.

To round things out, our January issue also features a deep-dive into Ohio HD, a Gahanna-based production studio and equipment rental hub that quietly boasts some of the most sophisticated video gear in the entire world.
