March 2022

Jack McLaughlin

We made it out the other side.

While it’s not full-fledged summer heat just yet, the temperature outside has stabilized at a livable mark, and spring is right around the corner.

Our March edition of (614) Magazine is The Home Issue. It’s full of tricks and tips for how to take your home’s exterior up a notch, a perfect project for the warmer weather. Gardening season is right around the corner as well.

This issue also shares the stories of three unique and historical Columbus homes, from their owners’ perspectives. From mysterious graveyards to three-story turrets, you’ll be more than a little surprised at what you find.

Like any issue of (614) Magazine, this one also offers the scoop on the newest and most interesting openings in the city’s food scene, including stories on how Granville’s new eatery Hashi is connecting cultures with its food, and a look into Palmo Aracri’s new pizzeria, and how the venture turned him into a champion of Downtown Columbus.

And as much as we love Downtown too, sometimes–especially when the weather warms up like this–you just want to get away for a week. We’ve laid out a handful of perfect road-trip destinations to make your spring break, however you choose to go about it.

Welcome to March, Columbus!
