For the first time in two years, residents in Merion Village will come together to celebrate their historic neighborhood in an event that’s forecasted to draw at least 2,500 attendees.

The Merion Village Festival is slated for noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 11 at Moeller Park, 281 Hanford St. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Merion Village Association.

The outdoor festival will feature a variety of arts and crafts vendors, as well as retail, service, and nonprofit vendors. Food trucks will be on site, and visitors will also get to imbibe courtesy of an onsite beer garden.

Live music and performances are slated for the celebration, as is interactive art. Families will be able to participate in children’s activities, and attendees can also try their luck at a silent auction.
