Scrawl is back.

The quirky-cool Columbus festival that features dozens of visual artists creating live street art and murals has officially released dates for its 2022 festival.

Scrawl 16 will be held Oct. 15-16 at 400 Square, a community space located at 401 W. Towne St. in Franklinton.

The festival, which features many top-tier visual artists in the Midwest, invites visitors to watch them up close and personal as they create their very own mobile murals over the course of the event. The lineup of artists has not been announced yet this year, but it’s set to feature more than 50 different creators.

And while ultra cool, interactive live art is the centerpiece of Scrawl, it’s not the only thing that the annual festival holds, either. Visitors can expect local art vendors, food trucks, local breweries, and even live music.
