Vivani, a longtime restaurateur who currently operates concepts in Italy, Chicago, New York and more, is likely best-known in popular culture for his appearance on the fifth season of “Top Chef,” where he took fourth place and was named the season’s fan favorite.
Earlier this year, the celebrity chef open an eatery by the same name in New York’s Motto Chelsea Hotel as well.
The restaurant’s name refers to the Italian word for shareable or snack plates. And while the menu of Vivani’s new Columbus eatery hasn’t been released this yet, a post on the Bar Cicchetti’s Instagram page teased that it will feature the chef’s famous meatball recipe.
