Less than a week after being struck by a vehicle, TAT Ristorante di Famiglia has reopened for business.

The eatery, located at 1210 S. James Rd. and billed as the oldest Italian restaurant in Columbus, was victimized in an incident on Jan. 15 when Indiana woman Tianna Harris allegedly drove a vehicle into the side of TAT, pinning a man between her car and the building.

She was arrested shortly after the incident, and the victim was in stable condition.

And while TAT remained closed immediately after the collision, the restaurant officially reopened for delivery and carryout business, beginning at 3 p.m. yesterday.

The eatery will be open for curbside carryout in addition to delivery orders through DoorDash, GrubHub and Uber Eats from 3-8 p.m., from Wednesday through Sunday. While the eatery luckily avoided serious structural damage in the accident, it will not offer a dine-in option until repairs on the building are finished.
