Le Vieux Lyon French Bakery is back, and bigger than before.

The popular French bakery, which was opened in 2019 by Mohammed Halaoui and Manira Camara, regularly struggled to keep up with demand at its original storefront located at 1774 Brice Rd.

So the decision was made to relocate Le Vieux Lyon. And while the move itself wasn’t far–they’re now at 1792 Brice Rd.– the bakery is now in a larger space that lets them more room to house dine-in customers, and offer a wider array of services.

After being closed for seven months, the bakery will officially reopen at its new location with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 12 at 10 a.m.

“Being able to serve our customers again it’s like a dream come through. We missed seeing their beautiful faces and smiles, especially their positive energy. We’re very humbled to be able to serve them,” Halaoui said.

The new storefront includes not only more dine-in space for customers, it will also have a small French marketplace and a new French tea house, known as a salon de tea.

“The new concept offers the opportunity to travel to France without taking an airplane, Halaoui said. “A place where You can enjoy delicious authentic French pastries, and also shop for authentic French food.”
