After over 10 years, Arepazo plans to close its Gahanna location.

The popular restaurant that specialized in tapas and wine will keep its Brewery District location open, however.

Arepazo announced the news over the weekend, and noted that the eatery’s final day of operation will be Feb. 24.

“For 10 years this community has supported us and allowed us to fulfill the dream of owning and operating a second restaurant. Now that our lease is up we have decided not to renew and close our Gahanna Arepazo location,” a statement from owners Carlos and Carolina Gutierrez reads.

The statement also noted that the owners will use this an opportunity to focus more on the eatery’s Brewery District location.

Arepazo’s Gahanna restaurant is located at 93 N. High St. It will be replaced by Marlow’s Cheesesteaks, an eatery that specializes in authentic cheesesteak and Philly-style Italian ice. Marlow’s plans to open on April 30.
