Anticipated pan-African eatery opening Easton brick and mortar today

Afra Grill’s Easton restaurant has finally arrived.

After announcing its new location last June, the fast-casual, build-your-own style African eatery will officially open its new Easton spot today.

The new Afra Grill is located at 3922 Townsfair Way. The eatery also operates a North Side storefront, which is located at 1635 Morse Rd.

“We wanted to give our community access to the diverse and unique flavor profiles of African cuisine in a contemporary, casual setting,” a press release about the opening reads. “On the interior walls of the restaurant we try to highlight the US Constitution and eight black inventors who made our lives easier. At Afra Grill the foods are always fresh, healthy and delicious.”

Owned by chef Abcos Ahmed, Afra Grill also regularly gives back to the Columbus community through a variety of free outreach and education programs.
