Barrio Tacos announces grand opening for anticipated new location

We finally know when Barrio Tacos plans to open its second Columbus location.

Earlier today, the popular concept confirmed that its new restaurant is slated to officially open on Aug. 1.

Barrio Tacos will be located within the 15+High development in the University District.

“We couldn’t be more excited to open at University Square on August 1st just in time to kick off the Fall Semester right in the heart of The Ohio State University,” said partner Jason Beudert. “We are thankful for all the students and faculty for their patience, but we’re pumped to say that Barrio is finally coming.”

The Cleveland-based eatery opened its first Columbus location in 2020, in Fifth by Northwest. It also operates a Columbus food truck, a location inside Ohio Stadium and two locations within Lower.com Field.
