Beloved Columbus-area Chinese and Thai restaurant closing this summer

Despite serving as a go-to spot for both Chinese and Thai cuisine for many in the greater Columbus area, Joey Chang’s Restaurant will be closing its doors this summer.

An employee told 614NOW that Joey Chang’s will close in July, although an exact date for the closure hasn’t been announced just yet.

The eatery is located at 3799 Ridge Mill Dr. in Hilliard.

The restaurant, which specializes in Szechuan, Hunan, Mandarin and Thai fare, is billed as an upscale-casual spot, and has been a favorite among many Columbus diners for years.

If you’d like to stop by the Hilliard restaurant before it closes this summer, Joey Chang’s is open from 11:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, 12-10 p.m. on Friday and 11:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday. The eatery’s popular lunch buffet is open from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Sunday only.
