Brenz Pizza Co. adding new Columbus location, with more on the way

Even though Brenz Pizza Co. began in Durham, N.C., the popular pizzeria has always had Columbus roots.

With both Development Director Kyle Rosch and co-founder Scott Morse are Central Ohio natives, the popular pizzeria is focused on expanding Brenz in the Columbus area.

This means a brand-new Brenz location is coming to the city’s northeast side.

The new storefront, which is located just west of New Albany at 4963 E. Dublin Granville Rd., is currently under construction, but Rosch is hoping for a late summer opening.

“We’re looking to grow our presence in this area. A lot of us are local guys, and we want to invest in Columbus,” he said.

Doubling down on the idea of Columbus growth, Brenz opened a Dublin location last year, and it recently took over operations of the pizzeria’s first-ever Columbus storefront, which is located at 1551 Lennox Town Ln. in Grandview. The location was formerly franchised.

According to Rosch, all of this means Brenz Pizza Co. hopes to open three more locations in the Columbus area in the near future.
