Buzzsaw Brewing Co. is moving on up.

Since its grand opening in early 2021, the craft brewery–which focuses primarily on Belgian and traditional European beer styles–has focused mainly on expanding its retail footprint. Now, according to co-owner Andrew Watkins, the brewery is creating its first-ever taproom.

The Buzzsaw taproom will be located at 951 Robinwood Ave., STE B in Columbus.

It will share space with the brewery‘s production facility, which is currently open for carryout beer purchases only.

Construction for the project, which includes the installation of a natural wood bar top and several wood-slab tabletops (all built in-house by Watkins and co-owner Quinn Bartlett) is currently underway, and the refurbished space will likely open in June.

The new space will boast a wide variety of taps from both Buzzsaw and other local breweries.

Buzzsaw has also teamed up with new Bexley butcher shop Macelleria to offer a variety of interesting products and events. The duo will be offering beer-infused sausages, in addition to a Buzzsaw-themed food and beer pairing at the brewery on April 20.
