Chef Hiro is launching a brick and mortar location, with even bigger plans behind it
While many details are still under wraps, it appears the city’s popular “Anime Chef” has secured a local storefront, with even bigger plans in his back pocket.
Chef Hiro–well known around Columbus for his Anime-covered food truck and decadent, flavorful cooking–announced on his social media accounts yesterday that he has secured a Columbus location for a brick and mortar space.
According to Hiro’s Instagram, Ohio’s capital city can expect a new location sometime this spring.

Even more, as Hiro has previously taken his operation on the road, he also announced plans to follow up the Columbus opening with an Atlanta location in the winter of 2022 or spring of 2023, and an LA storefront in the following year.
Chef Hiro began as a food truck launched by Jeanclaude Ba, a formal postal worker, in 2019. He plans to release more details on the new location later this week.
