The Thurman Cafe is getting some love on a national scale.
You may recognize the First We Feast channel for the wildly-popular video series “Hot Ones”, a show that features celebrity interview segments that take place during an increasingly-spicy hot wing challenge, to hilarious results.
The channel, which also includes a variety of other popular shows, featured the Columbus burger on a recent segment entitled “How to Cook Regional Smashburgers.”

It features “Burger Scholar” George Motz recreating three different regional smash burgers. Thurman Cafe’s iconic The Thurmanator, an enormous creation that compiles a three-fourths pound burger patty, a variety of toppings, and even a half pound of sliced ham.
“It’s a big burger, it’s a very big burger people,” Motz said.
