From craft beer to free cheesecake, here are the best election-day deals in Columbus

In case you need some last-minute incentive to vote today, we have that right here for you. Some of our favorites spots in the City are offering a wide variety of deals and even freebies for those who hit the ballots.

Antiques on High/Getaway Brewing/Seventh Son

All three of the breweries in the Seventh Son family will be offering half-off patrons’ first beer today. Billed as a celebration of Election Day, this deal is available even to those who didn’t vote.

The Cheesecake Girl

Because cheesecake goes with everything (including midterm elections), The Cheesecake Girl is offering a free mini cheesesteak to anyone with proof they voted, so hang on to your stickers, Columbus.

Mazah/Falafel Kitchen

And if cheesecake isn’t your thing, maybe another sweet treat is. Both Mazah Mediterranean Eatery in Grandview and Falafel Kitchen in North Market Bridge Park will be offering free baklava alongside any purchase if you show proof of voting.

Pecan Penny’s

Barbeque can get expensive, so why not cut a little bit off your bill when you can? Today, you can do just that. The downtown barbecue spot is offering 20 percent off to diners who voted.

El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant

El Vaquero operates a dozen Columbus-area locations and nearly 20 total in the state of Ohio, and they’re all offering an election day special. Today, anyone with their voting sticker can take 15% off.

Just Chicken

This brand-new chicken spot, which has a location in the East Market and will open soon in new Albany’s Bubbly Hall, is getting in on the election action as well. Today, all voters can take 10 percent off of their order.

Hot Chicken Takeover

Hot Chicken Takeover is about ready to unveil its new Lewis Center location, but you don’t need to wait for it to open to grab a great deal. Today only, any diners who show up with their voting stickers will receive $3 off of their order.

Coast to Local Seafood

Lobster isn’t exactly cheap, but you can get a special discount on it today from Coast to Local. Anyone who voted can take $4 the price of one of the North Market and North Market Bridge Park vendor’s lobster rolls.

Oddfellows Liquor Bar

If you’d like to reward yourself for exercising your civic duty, Oddfellows is the place to do it. All day tomorrow, the quirky Short North spot is offering 25 percent off to patrons who voted. “Wear your sticker, drink some liquor,” a promotion for the deal reads.

Wolf’s Ridge

One of downtown’s most popular spots is offering an Election Day special as well. Those with proof they voted can take half off of their first taproom pour today.
