Hot Mess Food Truck opening first-ever brick and mortar space next week

The first-ever brick and mortar home for Hot Mess Food Truck will officially open next week.

The eatery—which has been serving its indulgent burger creations throughout the Columbus area for nearly two years now–will hold the grand opening event for its new space inside Hilliard’s Center Street Market on March 23.

“This has been so long in the making. We have been building this dream since May of 2020. I have watched [ownership team] Todd and Tim work tirelessly on this for months and it’s here,” said co-owner Andrea Ciardelli.

Center Street, a 16,000 square foot marketplace featuring restaurants, retail space and even a brewery, is located at 5354 Center St. in Hilliard.

Hot Mess will take the 12th and final vendor spot at Center Street Market. The Hilliard space is also home to eateries like Meatball Mafia, The Cheesecake Girl, Al’s Delicious Popcorn. Crooked Can Brewing and more.

“We’re chomping at the bit; we cannot wait to open,” Ciardelli said. “Center Street is like North Market meets a brewery, it’s a great location.”

The new brick and mortar location will see the addition of more space for Hot Mess, in addition to a fryer, something the food truck didn’t have before.

According to Ciardelli, this means the eatery will add fries and fried chicken to its menu at Center Street Market, although she said the menu for the New location.

Immediately after opening, Hot Mess will be open Wednesday through Sunday during limited hours.
