Iconic Chicago deep-dish pizza chain coming to Columbus

While we all love the thin, crispy and square-cut Columbus style pizza that’s a culinary watermark in Central Ohio, something big is on the way.

Literally.

That’s because Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, the iconic Chicago pizzeria known for its deep dish pies, appears to be coming to Columbus.

While the eatery hasn’t made a formal announcement, a job posting for a Lou Malnati Market Partner in Columbus was posted on LinkedIn last week.

“Lou Malnati’s is an iconic Chicago born brand, ready to grow in our newest market, Columbus, Ohio,” the job description reads.

According to the LinkedIn post, the pizzeria is aiming to open its first location in December of this year. It’s also planning to add an additional three to four restaurants in the near future. There’s no word yet on where the eateries will be located.
