Indulgent burger food truck slated to open first brick and mortar space next month
Progress on the first-ever restaurant space for Hot Mess food truck is stacking up.
The popular spot for smokey mac and cheese and bacon jam burgers told 614NOW about its plans to open a first brick and mortar eatery inside Hilliard’s Center Street Market last September, and now those plans are coming to fruition.
According to co-owner Andrea Ciardelli, Hot Mess is slated to open its new restaurant space in mid to late March, although no specific date has been set, and she noted this timeline could be pushed back.

Construction on the project began in early December.
Located at 5354 Center St. in Hilliard, the development functions as a large marketplace and food hall. The spot is also home to Meatball Mafia, The Cheesecake Girl, Pitabilities, Crooked Can Brewing and more.
Ciardelli noted that the new location will allow Hot Mess to expand its menu as well, most notably with the addition of a fryer.
