Is this new Columbus pop-up for Roman-style pizza the next Wizard of Za?
For owner Tommy Conway, Duderino’s Pizza started as nothing more than a hobby.
During the initial outbreak of COVID-19, the Clintonville resident began making pizzas often for family and friends, who would regularly demand more and more of them.
And now, after serving as a “pizza speakeasy” with friends and neighbors, using a cashless bartering system, Duderino’s is finally opening up to the Columbus public proper.

Conway will be launching the very first Duderino’s pop-up at Endeavour Brewing, which is located at 909 W. 5th Ave. in Grandview.
Duderino’s pop-ups will begin taking place on Feb. 24, and will be held inside the brewery every other Thursday.
“I grew up eating Columbus pizza my whole life; I have pizza tattoos, I just want to craft more of what i love,” said Conway.
Duderino’s will be featuring both New York style pizza and what Conway refers to as Roman-style pizza, squares pies with a thicker crust and focaccia-like base, which he feels have been underrepresented among Columbus pizza styles.
