It’s back! This Columbus bakery is recreating last’s year viral Reese’s pies for Thanksgiving

For better or for worse, the holidays are a time of indulgence. And if you’re going to indulge this year, why not go all the way? And by all the way, we mean a multiple-pound, 8,000-plus calorie Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup turned into a pie.

Following their popularity last year, Carolyn’s Bake Shop will be recreating and selling their own version of the virally-popular Reese’s Thanksgiving Pie.

The original Reese’s pie, which sold out in hours last year, is essentially a gigantic (3.4 pounds, to be exact) Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, and its introduction last year set the internet on fire.

According to Caorlyn’s Bake Shop owner Carolyn White, the bakery began making the pies last year after seeing how popular the original desserts were. White’s version ended up being a hit as well.

Each pie, which begins with over two pounds of Belgian chocolate, will cost $39.99. Carolyn’s is currently accepting preorders for the pies until Nov. 18. Pick-up times can be arranged for specific days and times following Nov. 18.
