It’s Official: Dave’s Hot Chicken adding a new Columbus-area location

Dave’s Hot Chicken is coming to Westerville.

On June 22, the Westerville Planning Commission unanimously approved a final development plan for a brand-new Dave’s Hot Chicken location.

The eatery, which will be a new building, will be located on the south side of Polaris Parkway between Worthington Road and Olde Worthington Road. No opening date has been announced yet.

The restaurant will be 2,559 square feet and will feature a drive-thru lane.

The Westerville restaurant will be the third confirmed Dave’s Hot Chicken to come to the Columbus area, although the popular national chain said that it could bring as many as 12 new eateries to Central Ohio.

Currently, one restaurant will be located in the University Square Development at the intersection of 15th Ave. and High St. The other will be located at 3590 W. Dublin-Granville Rd.
